EUROPEAN INSURANCE ALLIANCE underwrites different cargos carried by ground, sea, river, and air transport over Ukraine and abroad.

In case of cargo insurance the cargo owner receives a guarantee of the damages, the amount of which is much wider than a guarantee granted by the carrier and its liability policy.

The carrier may be either the Insured (and insure cargo at the expense and to the benefit of the cargo owner) or our agent at the moment of conclusion of agreements on cargo insurance (and receive the respective agent’s fee).

Policy wording for the cargo insurance by CJSC «European insurance alliance» are developed on the basis of the clauses «А», «В» and «С» of the Institute of London Underwriters. Insurance is usually maintained on the liability conditions for: 

• «All risks»;
• «Risks of particular average»;
• «Risks of wreck».

At Customer’s will the coverage may include additional risks that do not conflict with the current legislation.

Insurance period shall start from the date of cargo reception from the warehouse and last till the date of the cargo delivery to the final destination, specified in the policy.

Insurance tariff shall be 0,15 — 1,5% of the sum insured. The calculation of the tariff per each accident shall be made on the basis of the data provided in the application.
